Clay Shoot

A great opportunity to try something new, spend the morning receiving quality coaching from friendly instructors and get competitive with other teams

Date: Friday 17th September, 9am – 2pm

Venue: Nuthampstead Shooting Ground, Nr Royston, SG8 8LS

Event Details: The event will be held at Nuthampstead Shooting Ground, a very well-known and respected ground in the shooting community that holds high profile competitions and training for Olympic and Commonwealth Athletes. This event is aimed at shooting novices though seasoned shooters are welcome.

The day kicks off with tea/coffee and bacon sandwiches while attendees arrive and register. There is then a welcome and safety brief from Ed Barker (owner).

In teams of four, attendees begin to move through 6 stands of 6 clays. Each stand has a different themed target e.g. rabbit, duck before having 4 shots at the competition stand where the clays, once hit, explode into paint.

There will also be the opportunity to have a go at breaking a world record, a Hog Roast, cash bar for beer and wine, raffle and auction.

Tickets are priced at £150 per person which includes Gun hire, cartridges, tuition, prizes, hog roast, tea/coffee and bacon rolls.
