Offering something for everyone, our Grove Cottage in the Park event will take place at Sworders Field, from 12-8pm.

There will be a Food and Drink Festival with a wide variety of food and drink stalls including Ques Idea Mexican Kitchen, Smok’n Greek, The Really Good Sausage Co and Waffle & Floss.

There will also be a selection of live music from local bands including Livewire Rock Academy, De Rosa, Grove Cottage Performing Arts Club, Woodwind of Stortford, Bishop’s Stortford Gospel Choir, Steve Young and the Real Time Players and a Kids’ Zone to entertain younger members of the family.

Then from around 6pm, stand-up comedy legend and actor Paddy Lennox will be taking centre stage with his mischievous sense of humour. Paddy, who lives in Hertfordshire, runs two comedy clubs locally, The Great Dunmow Comedy Club and The Laughing Bishops Comedy Club in Bishop’s Stortford. Both run once a month and often sell out due to the top-quality comedians performing from the UK Comedy Circuit. He also tours the UK performing at comedy clubs across the country.

Finally local rock cover band The Lackeys will headline the event with a range of hits from the 1950’s to the present day.
