Adult Evening Clubs

Our Evening Social Clubs for adults (18+) with learning disabilities meet every Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7-9pm. (Unfortunately these Clubs are not currently running due to Covid Restrictions.)

Our social clubs for adults offer a fun, caring and supportive environment, where people with a learning disability can meet and make friends and take part in individual and group activities.

Grove Cottage is well-supplied with puzzles, games and craft equipment. Our members can also play darts, watch TV or have a go at karaoke.

There are discos to celebrate special occasions, fish and chip suppers, pizza evenings, BBQs, and outings to 10-pin bowling and local events. We also invite local comedians and singers to perform at our clubs!

Our Adult Social Clubs are both charged at £4 per session and this is paid in cash on the door. Existing members with a query about Wednesday Club should contact and exisiting members with a query about Thursday Club should contact New members wishing to join our Adult Clubs should email or call 01279 656085.

I think the club is very good. Staff are brilliant, I learn more and like seeing the volunteers. Playing darts upstairs is my favourite thing.

Grove Cottage aims to be a fully inclusive organisation and is committed to supporting people through financial hardship. We can therefore, on a case by case basis, subsidise the cost of our services. If you would like to speak to our Operations Manager confidentially about this please email
